Tendências Contemporâneas da Emigração de Camada Jovem em Timor-Leste Destino, Causas, e Impactos Sociais e Económicos na Sociedade Timorense

Recently youth emigration in Timor-Leste is the phenomenon that arises the new attention after Timor-Leste achieved its independence and in the liberation for the Nation-State.
Within this scope, the present investigation intends to identify the indicators that can contribute to the creation of public policy to mitigate the emigration of young people in Timor-Leste. In terms of socioeconomic causes and impacts on society, through this process we are using the qualitative method, which collects information through unstructured interviews with those public entities identified, political and religious leaders, civil society, the emigrants and their families, who obtained fundamental knowledge about the research subject. This research, we are using the Content Analysis and QDA Miner.
The result of this investigation shows that the emigration destination for young people is the United Kingdom and North Ireland, and the choice of their countries destination was based on several fundamental indicators. The factors that influenced young people to emigrate are the economic questions based on highest poverty in the country and another social factors such as unemployed, education, culture and technology. The causes of youth emigration are the job offer for the unskilled employed, also the social economic and psychology pressure around the country. The socioeconomic impacts for the Timorese Society are contributing to reducing unemployment, to having the new work experiences, improving the family's economy.
In addition, the negative impacts are the losing of the productive age of workers and to improving and obtained the economy and development skills from the facilities of industries moderns from receiving countries.
The national political consensus; the economic diversification, the investment in the productive sectors, work field creation, professional education and technical development, we viewed that, the new establishment and cooperation policy with the United Kingdom and North Ireland are considered as the good vantages and priorities developing and intended to mitigate the emigration of young peoples in Timor-Leste.
