A Capacidade de Carga dos Animais Ruminantes em Pastagem Nativa no Municipio de Manufahi: Análise da Produtividade, Composição Botânica e Composição Química

The study aims to evaluate the carrying capacity of botanical and chemical composition, in native pasture in the Municipality of Manufahi. The data obtained were analyzed by statistical analysis with simple tabulation and for the value of the carrying capacity using a certain formula. The results show, in Dotik village, the proportion of grasses and legumes is 84.63% vs 11.88%, the dominant species are Dichanthium annulatum, Bothriochoa bladii, Ischaenum timorense, Desmodium triflorum and Alycicarpus vaginalis. Grasses CP value is between 7.82-10.25% and legumes is 14.23 16.60%. The carrying capacity is 2.22 AU/ha/year. Fatucahi village, the proportion of grasses and legumes are 72.62% vs 13.51%, the dominant species Imperata cyliandrica, Dichanthium annulatum, Ischaenum timorense, Desmodium triflorum and Alycicarpus vaginalis. CP value is 6.50-11.94% (grasses) and legumes 14.30-16.87%. The carrying capacity is 1.85 AU/ha/year. It is recommended to introduce high quality, adaptable of leguminous species in Fatucahi native pasture.
